Activate "location data" in vehicle

To remotely read the vehicle's location, the "Location Data" feature needs to be activated directly in your vehicle's infotainment system.

1. Access Infotainment Settings: While in the vehicle, go to the infotainment screen.
2. Navigate to User Settings: Select Users and then Settings from the main menu.
3. Privacy Settings: Go to Privacy, then locate the option for Send Location Data.
4. Activate Location Data: Enable the Location Data option.

Note: This step cannot be completed remotely via the Volkswagen app. It must be configured within the vehicle itself.
