To re-establish communication with your vehicle, you must sign in to the vehicle using the Volkswagen user profile linked to your app account.
This is required because the vehicle is currently signed in with a different user, which limits data access.
In the vehicle’s infotainment system, follow these steps to restore full functionality:
- Open the "Users" Menu: Tap on "Users" to manage the profiles associated with the vehicle.
- Log In With Your Primary Volkswagen Profile: Make sure you’re signed in with the same profile that’s linked to your Volkswagen app. If a different user is signed in, switch profiles or enter your credentials.
- Verify the Profile in the Volkswagen App: Open the Volkswagen app on your mobile device and confirm that it’s connected to the same profile currently active in the vehicle.
Once signed in with the correct profile, access to live vehicle data will be fully restored.
