Become the primary user

Becoming the primary user enables access to connected BMW services. You can do this in two ways:

In the myBMW app: Add the vehicle, then scan the QR code shown on the vehicle's screen. In the vehicle: From the user menu, start the mapping process, then scan the QR code with the myBMW app. If another driver is currently the primary user, remove them from the vehicle's user menu first, then follow one of the steps above.
